Uniform Information

Student Uniform Standards

Helen Barrett Montgomery School #50 is a uniform-encouraged school. This policy was established for the 2025–2026 school year following a collaborative process involving surveys from our students, staff, and families.

Our uniform policy aims to foster a sense of school pride, promote a focused learning environment, and eliminate distractions. While participation in the schoolwide uniform policy is optional, we strongly encourage all students to wear the HBM colors to demonstrate unity and school spirit.

Uniform Requirements

For students participating in the school uniform program, the requirements are as follows:

  • Tops: Solid Red polo shirts (short or long sleeve).

  • Bottoms: Solid Black pants, skirts, or shorts.

  • Footwear: Students may wear any color or style of footwear.

Purchasing Uniforms

To ensure uniforms remain accessible for all families, the PTO offers red polo shirts for purchase at a discounted price directly at the school. Please visit the main office or contact a PTO representative for more information on available sizes and pricing. Uniforms and other HBM gear can be purchased here
